We are seeking EU Commercial Strategy & Growth Director to partner with our Europe Commercial Lead to drive performance and execution across businesses and markets through data-based performance mgmt. and disciplined execution of strategic priorities.
This is a high-impact role focused on turning strategy into results—ensuring that priorities are executed with discipline, performance is actively managed, and tangible business outcomes are delivered.
You will play a key role in co-building and embedding our commercial excellence capabilities, working closely with European Commercial Operations Lead to establish best-in-class performance management and execution practices.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Drive commercial performance across European markets, identifying gaps, quantifying value at stake and leading actions to improve growth and profitability
- Lead implementation of the EU commercial operating model including roles, decision rights and governance
- Translate strategy into clear execution roadmap, ensuring delivery of key strategic initiatives on time and with impact
- Define and implement market archetypes with differentiated KPI and governance, and embed performance tracking governance & review mechanisms
- Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews focused on outcomes, accountability, and corrective action
- Partner with Commercial Operations and I&A to enable data driven decision making as well as tools, processes, and frameworks that enable strong in-market execution and impact
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Europe Commercial Lead, providing insight on performance, risks, and priorities
Your Skills and Experience
- 10+ years of experience in pharma focused strategy consulting or strategic/commercial roles in pharma/biotech
- Prior experience with commercial performance management preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to structure ambiguous topics
- Proven track record developing leadership level strategic presentations
- Experience leading cross functional projects in a matrixed environment
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills and advance proficiency in Powerpoint / excel
- Strong understanding of pharma commercial dynamics (pricing, G2N, tendering, GTM models, launch/portfolio strategy)
