The opportunity

As a Business Engagement Manager at Teva based in Haarlem in The Netherlands, you will play a pivotal role in bridging innovative central hubs with local market teams. You will be responsible for ensuring that hub-supported services are delivered efficiently, aligned with market priorities, and continuously improved. This is a high-impact role suited for professionals who thrive in cross-functional environments and are passionate about operational excellence.

How you’ll spend your day

  • Market–Hub Coordination: Ensure strong collaboration and clarity on priorities, timelines, and expectations.
  • Service Delivery Oversight: Manage the end-to-end coordination of hub-supported services across key business functions.
  • Request Prioritization: Advise market leaders on request prioritization based on strategic impact, capacity, and business value.
  • Performance & Risk Management: Track delivery metrics, identify risks or misalignment, and escalate issues when needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Facilitate feedback loops between markets and hubs to enhance service quality.
  • Change Management: Support communication, engagement, and adoption efforts for new processes and ways of working.
  • Reporting & Governance: Prepare operational reports and contribute to governance forums.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted relationships, address concerns proactively, and maintain strong cross-functional collaboration.

Your experience and qualifications

Do you have…?

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field
  • Proven experience in business operations, consulting, or market-facing roles in pharma or life sciences
  • A track record of managing cross-functional initiatives in global or matrixed organizations
  • Strong influencing skills across seniority levels and regions
  • Hands-on experience with hub–market service delivery models
  • Proficiency in performance tracking, issue escalation, and operational reporting
  • Fluency in English, Dutch language represents a strong asset
