Your Role


The Operational Excellence Expert is responsible for driving change by implementation of the global Teva Production System standards and coaching local management and team members to achieve a step change in the performance of the site in terms of quality, service and cost competitiveness while engaging and empowering the site employees.


This position will interact with employees at every level of the organization and Position within the Site

Your Responsibilites


  • Co-lead the site OPEX transformation
  • Implement the Teva Operating System standards and embed the global standards
  • Stakeholder management and coaching
  • Bring structure and knowledge of methodology to guarantee rigor
  • Provide deep lean expertise
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for system and process improvements
  • Develop the departmental OPEX projects roadmaps based on the sustainability assessment recommendations
  • Help site management with the setting of ambitious targets
  • Knowledge sharing of best practices
  • Ensuring local project follow up,  rising the flags, proposing the project plan changes
  • Guide and assist OPEX initiatives and help them achieve their goals
  • Assist with measurement of performance and development progress
Your Profile


  • Strong leadership skills
  • Minimum five (5) year experience in process improvement tools (lean, six sigma) and as team leader in a Lean environment, preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Strong OPEX skills preferable Black Belt.
  • Business Acumen
  • Strong analytical skills and financial insight
  • Bachelor of Science Degree preferred in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or Engineering. Advance Degree preferred.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, excellent knowledge in MS Office
