How You’ll Spend Your Day

1.    Responsible for below activities in the Quality Control Laboratory

  • Receipt, registration and upkeep of all the samples in the laboratory.
  • Perform sampling of water and compressed analysis as per plan to adhere to the schedules and meet priorities.
  • Analysis to be performed based on qualification matrix of the analyst for MLT, environmental monitoring, water testing chemical, media preparation, growth promotion, compressed air testing  etc.
  • To perform microbial suitability testing for the new materials / product.
  • Timely and error free documentation as per the GLP requirement.
  • Perform Glorya and SAP related activities.
  • Calibrations of Laboratory Instruments and Equipment.
  • Used media decontamination after reporting the observations.
  • Handling of TrackWise harmony system for TrackWise related activities.
  • Revision and updation of Standard Operating Procedures, test methods and specifications.
  • Maintenance of media, biological indicator and Gastec tubes etc. 

 

2.    Other Activities

  • To ensure compliance to the requirements of policy and procedures on Data Integrity.
  • Timely reporting of Out of Action/Alert Limits, OOT, Trends, Deviations and LIR (If any).
  • To maintain the assigned Laboratory workplace, instruments, and equipment’s.
  • To ensure timely disposition of balance analytical samples.
  • To ensure that the analysis is Right first time and activity completion as per committed timeline.
  • Trend preparation for the water, environmental monitoring and summary preparation for compressed air.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned trainings.
  • Active participation in regulatory Audits.
  • Always follow good laboratory practices.
  • Sending samples to external laboratories for testing.
  • Submitted Report retrieval, request for protocols from QA whenever required.
  • Temperature and humidity monitoring of assigned areas and timely communication to supervisor in case of any discrepancy.
  • Ensure maintenance and upkeep of all logbooks and all relevant registers in the laboratory.
  • Maintenance of spares/accessories of all laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Preparation and execution of Analytical protocols/Reports.
  • Handling of instrument/equipment breakdown.
  • Coordination with service providers for instrument related services
  • Initiatives for continuous improvements.
  • Execution of activities related to area qualification or utility as per approved protocol. 

 

3.    Environment, Health and Safety Related Activities

  • Ensures that safety practices are followed during routine activities.
  • Ensure to use safety apparels and PPEs while working in the laboratory.
  • Actively participate in EHS activities.
  • To report any safety concerns.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor of Science/Master of Science/Bachelor of Pharmacy/Master of Pharmacy
  • 2 to 5 years of experience
