How you’ll spend your day

  • Provide management reporting to site management, global and regional operations finance, and corporate finance, ensuring relevant, accurate timely, complete and compliant reporting
  • Calculate reliable, complete, timely and comprehensive standard costs
  • Guide site on all applicable financial policies and guidelines and ensure adherence
  • Provide financial insights to the site leadership team to ensure that short and long-term business decisions are based on strong financial reasoning
  • Enhance site cost competitiveness by exploring, analyzing, facilitating and leveraging efficiency initiatives and lead continuous improvement in finance processes
  • Implement managerial practices to ensure the team’s high performance, modeling Teva's values and leadership framework
  • Serve as an influential member of the site leadership team, who impacts decision making and takes an active role in promoting cross site initiatives, team work and collaboration across site functions 

Your experience and qualifications

  • An academic degree in Accounting or a Finance-related subject is required; an MBA is a plus
  • Minimum of five years of progressive experience in Finance/Accounting is required
  • Manufacturing site experience is required; pharmaceutical/food/consumer health goods (FDA/GMP) industries are preferred
  • Experience with SAP/ERP systems is preferred
  • Experience as part of a site leadership team is preferred
  • High-level knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, management accounting, and costing methodologies (product costing)
  • Advanced practical experience in financial planning and control, preferably in operations, supply chain, quality, procurement, and/or commercial
  • High-level financial, analytical, and modeling skills (return on investment evaluations)
  • Intermediate understanding of quality and manufacturing as they relate to products, processes, and compliance
  • Intermediate knowledge of OPEX (operational excellence) principles and tools
  • Knowledge of compliance and controls - SOX compliance and local financial regulations; ability to learn Teva accounting policies and guidelines; theoretical and practical understanding of working in a regulated industrial environment
