Job Description

ratiopharm Finland - Teva group member is currently looking for a Chain Manager.

The successful person has a strong pharmacy sales background and abilities to manage a team of 3 Key Account Managers. Co-operation with the Finnish pharmacy chains is in the core of the key responsibilities. The role will involve promoting our entire range of Prescription medicines, OTC medicines and non-medicinal products in-line with the company objectives and targets. The chosen person is required to have a very strong understanding of the Finnish pharmacy market and pharmacy chain organizations. This position includes responsibility of the chain marketing budget. The role will require you to spend time in the field with the Key Account Managers and individual meetings with KOL´s. The successful person is comfortable and capable of communicating with all levels within and outside the business both written and verbal with a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-operation with the Finnish pharmacy chains.
  • Implement the strategic plan for growing our business through the pharmacy chains.
  • Serve as the manager to 3 KAM on a day to day basis. . Monitor, assess and support their performance.
  • Pharmacy chain marketing budget.
  • Work with Product Managers (Marketing) to ensure all Brand Plans are being carried out in the field by the team.
  • Work to encourage a strong relationship between Sales and Marketing.
  • Effective communicator with all levels – both internally and externally.
  • Work with Directors to set clear and transparent targets for the team.

Qualifications

  • Business or Science related qualification required.
  • 5+year experience in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in account management is desirable.
  • Ability to take on challenging product knowledge for a broad and diverse portfolio.
  • Comfortable and capable of communicating with all levels within and outside the business both written and verbal with a high level of professionalism.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Personal Effectiveness - must be able to work under pressure and autonomously; successfully manage a very diverse and demanding workload.
  • Strong leadership skills and an ability to inspire sales teams.
  • Ability to work well on one’s own initiative and as part of a cross functional team.
  • Flexible approach to managing work life balance and prepared to travel regularly.
  • Strong technical and computer literacy; skilled in the use of tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
