The opportunity

Performs supply chain functions including tactical and transitional activities such as work order management, purchase order management, inventory control, internal functions and KPIs monitoring to support the packaging transfer projects into Edison. Responsibilities are within the Supply Chain Function as a materials management dedicated professional.
 

How you’ll spend your day

•    Coordinate Packaging Activities: Transact the planning, scheduling, packaging activities in line with production requirements.
•    Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of packaging materials, ensuring timely reordering to avoid stockouts.
•    Transact Purchase Orders and Vendor related activities.
•    Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality control, and logistics departments to ensure smooth packaging operations.
•    Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packaging efficiency and reduce costs.
•    Troubleshooting: Address and resolve any issues related to packaging machinery or materials.
•    Safety and Quality Assurance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and ensure the quality of packaging meets set standards.
•    Reports: Generate periodic reports on packaging activities, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics.
 

Your experience and qualifications

Education Required:
Undergraduate BA/BS degree    

 

Experience Required:
•    1-3 years of related experience
•    Experience from Pharma, Food or other high volume manufacturing regulated environment is a plus.
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing and supply chain environment.
•    Analytical with excellent attention to detail, flexible and adaptable to change.
•    Knowledge and Ability to use Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
•    Knowledge in using ERP systems.

•    Knowledge and ability to use data visualization software packages.
