Job Description

Performs supply chain and logistics functions, such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution. Creates integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, purchasing and logistics) and outside suppliers. Responsibilities are within the Supply Chain and Logistics Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines.

Essential Duties / Functions

●    Looks beyond existing methodologies and own discipline to define and resolve complex problems

●    Develops plans and delivers results in fast-changing businesses and/or regulatory environments

●    Provides input to functional or departmental strategy

●    Manages large, potentially diverse teams of managers and/or senior professionals

●    May contribute directly to business priorities and planning

●    Provides leadership to managers, supervisors and/or professional staff

●    Is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related units

●    Develops departmental plans, including business, production and/or organizational priorities

●    Controls resources and policy formation in area of responsibility

●    Decisions are guided by resource availability and functional objectives


Education Required:

  • Undergraduate/BA/BS degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • MBA or advanced M.Sc. degree in related area is an advantage.

Experience Required:

  • 10-15 years of related experience
  • Experience from Pharma, Food or other high volume manufacturing regulated environment is a plus

Specialized or Technical Knowledge, Licenses, Certifications required:

  • Knowledge in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, QAD or others)
  • Analytical abilities and ability to work through data, building tools to help solve problems and improve current processes
  • Deep understanding of planning processes and the interdependencies between the different parts of the organization
  • Ability to solve complex problems and interact with different functions/layers of the organization, including top management.
