Our Team, Your Impact

Currently we are looking for а qualified and motivated candidate for the role of experienced Sr Director Supply Chain, part of the Supply Chain Department based in Dupnitsa manufacturing site.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

The core of this position is leading and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure reliable market supply, efficient inventory management, and alignment between demand, production, and logistics. The role also requires strong leadership in driving operational excellence, cross-functional coordination, and continuous improvement across planning, logistics, and process management.

 


Main responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a large department (up to 100 employees), ensuring efficient operations, effective management changes, and strong team growth.

• Oversee supply and demand planning, ensuring reliable market supply, inventory alignment, production planning, and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

• Own and manage site-level S&OP and S&OE processes, including demand analysis, capacity planning, stakeholder coordination, and recovery planning.

• Manage the MRP process by planning raw material needs, controlling inventory levels, and coordinating escalations with procurement teams and suppliers.

• Drive operational improvement projects, including inventory optimization, market supply efficiency, OPEX initiatives, and support for product launches and changes.

• Coordinate product launches, material changes, and artwork updates while ensuring alignment with global priorities and smooth execution.

• Oversee site logistics operations, ensuring compliance with safety, GMP, GDP, and customs requirements.

• Lead continuous process improvements, KPI monitoring, and the development of SOPs and work instructions to ensure operational excellence

Your Skills and Experience

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics or Engineering

• Professional experience within the pharmaceutical industry in supply chain

• In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and topics; pharmaceutical quality and requirements as well as procedure and structures

• Several year of experience in management paired with leadership and coaching skills

• Ability to make decisions based on analysis and assessments

• Strong change management skills paired with a solution and process-oriented thinking

• Ability to cope with pressure and tight deadlines

• Fluency in English both written and spoken
