Actavis - a Teva company - manages two manufacturing plants, sales and marketing organization and a number of global corporate functions.



Actavis - a Teva company is looking for qualified and motivated candidates for the role of Manager Tableting, Encapsulation and Coating to join the Production team of Dupnitsa manufacturing site.

The Role

The Manager Tableting, Encapsulation and Coating leads the production processes of compression, encapsulation and coating in compliance with Good Manufacturing Processes with main focus on support and management of the production team.

Main duties and Key responsibilities
  • Manage all production activities in Tableting, Encapsulation and Coating in a timely and efficient manner to ensure fulfilling of production plans
  • Ensure work safety and product quality, support the maintaining and further establishment of safety and quality culture and mind set 
  • Coordinate  work schedules with Planning Department in order to meet production timelines
  • Review of production output  on a daily basis to ensure commitments are met
  • Ensure all activities within Tableting, Encapsulation and Coating are performed in accordance with cGMP and relevant SOP’s
  • People management – employee recruitment and development, performance and rewards management, talent management
  • Provide active support to OPEX initiatives within Tableting, Encapsulation & Coating, OEE and Cycle Time KPIs
The candidate should have
  • University degree in Chemistry, Automation, Engineering, or relevant to the position
  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and knowledge on tableting and encapsulation processes
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Sound understanding of project and people management
  • Experience within a cGMP working environment
  • Excellent communication skills, pro-active, results oriented, team player
  • Must have an eye for detail and approach to work with good time management skills
  • Very good English skills both written and spoken
  • Very good computer literacy – MS Office package
