Purpose of the position

Co-ordinate the site’s (Pharma Division) improvement related initiatives and activities to ensure that they are harmonized with site strategy and each other in terms of target, timing and that resources are used efficiently and are allocated to the right priorities. Co-ordinate project pipeline and monitoring for sustainably improving site performance in all critical business areas. Ensure a common framework is in place to formalize these activities. Foster a supportive and co-operative working atmosphere in the site where people work jointly towards mutually agreed growth targets. Reports to Supply Chain Director.

Main responsibilities

  • Organize and facilitate regular meetings related to site strategy and emerging improvement activities.
  • Provide guidance in and tools for managing and monitoring these activities to ensure visibility, transparency, uniformity.
  • Facilitate the creation and maintenance of a healthy improvement project pipeline that serves the long term sustainable development of site performance primarily in the areas of competitiveness and delivery.
  • Foster networking in and across sites in order to increase site efficiency and co-operation.
  • Help others to find and apply best practices in the field of project management, best practice sharing and implementation and networking.
  • Manage the site’s activities related to material change projects by coordinating and directing the work of responsible project managers.
  • Acts as a resource, supports and coordinates the work of project managers in project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting, people management, in ensuring project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost and in performance monitoring, recommendation of schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
  • Takes the lead in increasing the efficiency of project management work / functions.
  • Works independently with guidance only in the most complex situations.
  • Make decisions based on strategic goals and resource availability.

The ideal candidate

  • owns a degree of higher education in engineering or economics;
  • is fluent in English and Hungarian;
  • is computer literate;
  • has experience in project management;
  • is a strategic thinker;
  • has leadership skills and experience.
