Responsibilities:

 

  • Management and Administration of the IT department by carrying out all below mentioned responsibilities and any other relevant responsibilities, as per the Company Policies and guidance of IT Management. 
  • Lead the team of IT Staff to implement, operate & administer IT systems and organize for end-user support with respect to IT Systems. 
  • Develop and implement policies & procedures for departmental operations and for implementation, operations, upgrade & de-commissioning of IT systems. 
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the respective country related IT Systems. 
  • Collaborate with Business stakeholders/Business Unit Managers/Business Process Owners for improvement of new/existing business processes by automation, by implementation of new IT Systems and/or by upgrading the existing IT Systems. 
  • Collaborate with TAPI IT Management and Site Management for planning, approvals and implementation of IT Systems. 
  • Adhere to the applicable company policies and procedures related to Site, HR, Security, Quality, EHS, Data Integrity, GxP Compliances, Financial compliances and any other relevant compliances. Also, ensure adherence of the said policies & procedures by sub-ordinates. 
  • Accountable for physical & logical security of IT Systems, IT related Electronic data, IT Rooms and IT Infrastructure, at site. 
  • Organize for procurement of local IT related Hardware, IT related Software and IT related Services
  • Planning & Preparation of Annual Operating Plan & Budget for IT Manpower, IT Projects/Activities, Capital & Operational expenses. Controlling the departmental manpower & activities as per the approved annual Operating Plan & Budgets. 
  • Management of local Software Licensing and IT Related Assets. 
  • Accountable for GxP and Non-GxP IT Compliance Activities and maintenance of Compliance Documentation of IT Systems. 
  • Annual KPI / Objective / Goal / Target Settings, Performance Reviews, Development Plans, Trainings, Coaching & Appraisals of the sub-ordinates. 
  • Manage Recruitment and Separation process of sub-ordinates. 
  • Delegate & Assign job responsibilities to the subordinates and communicate the job expectations. 
  • MIS Reporting to the IT Management as well as to the Site Management (dotted).

Requirements:

 

 

  • Computer Science/Information Systems or other relevant degree – Must
  • Previous working experience at Production Facility IT – Must
  • Knowledge Compliance/Validation & Data Integrity rules – Strong Advantage
  • Acquaintance with Teva systems – Strong Advantage
  • Proven experience in Engineering & Manufacturing systems - Advantage
