Job Description

 

Position Summary

You will actively support site personnel with financial reporting requirements related to inventory, fixed assets and expense management in an operations finance environment.

 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to site personnel with regards to procure to pay issues, expense management and analysis and other finance-related tasks
  • Prepare and analyze various accruals and provide general support in quarterly close process
  • Maintain financial routine including managerial reports, meetings and gap analysis
  • Provides various capital expense related analysis.
  • Reconcile financial systems- JD Edwards, Oracle modules (GL & Project Accounting) and Hyperion Planning. Identify mapping issues and work to resolve. Ensure monthly expenses are correctly coded
  • Support transition from Oracle reporting to SAP
  • Provide input to continuously improve accounting processes and procedures and related outputs
  • Perform other Finance and Accounting functions or analysis, as necessary

 

Qualifications

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting required
  • MBA or CPA preferred

 

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in accounting and financial analysis, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment
  • Experience with financial systems—Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP and Hyperion Planning a plus
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
