The opportunity

Teva is looking for a motivated professional to join its French Finance team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the local finance team and shared services professionals (GBS) on GL Accounting activities (US GAAP and French GAAP), Pharmaceutical Taxes, and the roll-out of e‑Invoicing throughout the French scope. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic, multinational pharmaceutical group, support the reshaping of the finance organization around global service centers, and contribute to delivering Teva’s Pivot to Growth strategy. How you’ll spend your day

•  Work closely with associate director, accounting, to plan and execute the following responsibilities.

•  Oversee and review monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close activities, performed with GBS teams in Europe and India.

•  Review balance sheet and profit and loss reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of variances, particularly in the critical areas of material costing, inventory allowances and commercial rebates.

•  Manage, with local tax manager, pharmaceutical taxes in France and statutory filings in line with local regulations

•  Liaise closely with GBS teams to ensure smooth processing of GL activities.

•  Coordinate GBS and local teams to organize activities that ensure efficiency, accuracy, and seamless execution.

•  Contribute to group initiatives to improve SAP processes, lead initiatives in the improvement of local processes.

•  Support and maintain compliance and internal controls (including SOX) across the GL scope, contribute to internal and external audit processes, and oversee the relationship with statutory auditors.

•  Assist local management with finance-related projects and ad hoc analysis.

•  Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes, controls and documentation

•  Work collaboratively with international finance teams across multiple jurisdictions

Your experience and qualifications

•  Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar

•  Approximately 5 years’ experience in a structured, international environment

•  Experience working across borders fluently in English

•  Strong understanding of statutory accounting and financial reporting

•  Comfortable working with shared service centers or centralized finance teams

•  Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems (ERP)

•  Proactive, organized and keen to learn, with a strong attention to detail

• Experience with SAP represents an asset

•  Able to communicate clearly, concisely and professionally with both finance and non-finance stakeholders, as well in English as in French.
