How you’ll spend your day

We are seeking a qualified Network Professional to join our team at the Network Operations Center (NOC). As a Network Professional, you will be responsible for managing network operations, troubleshooting, and resolving complex issues, and ensuring maximum availability and resilience of network services. You will work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with a team of passionate professionals committed to providing optimal customer service and support. As a member of our team, you will be part of a 24/7 operations team that ensures our clients' networks are running smoothly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

For the Network Ctrl/Admin Professional in Network Operation Center in a Large Enterprise, required IT oriented, hungry for knowledge and tech savvy candidate.

Network Operation in our company is playing a key role in Managing and Monitoring IT infrastructure and applications worldwide.

Manage the overall health and performance of the network infrastructure.

Investigate and resolve complex network issues.

Implement changes to the network infrastructure as per business requirements.

Monitor network health using various tools, software, and systems.

Collaborate with stakeholders to perform network-related tasks and upgrades.

Document network operations processes and procedures

Participate in on-call rotations to ensure maximum availability of network services.

Act as the first point of contact for Major incident issues via phone and email.

Troubleshoot reported relevant issues and escalate critical issues to higher tiers.

Record and track all support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.

Maintain appropriate documentation, procedures, and operational methods.

Ensure timely communication of network status with clients and internal teams!

Knowledge in basic networking configurations

Managing Major Incident incidents across the IT and Business Unit

Following up on RCA.

Server monitoring, alert acknowledgement, and initial troubleshooting.

Proactive and reactive monitoring of technology systems including applications, databases, datacenters.

Network links monitoring and following up with providers for fault resolution.

Track and document network issues and compile incident reports.

Alerting the team and project owners of any alerts for customers.

Initial Windows server support as needed.

Knowledge on ticketing systems and ITIL process.

Coordinate with ISP/Customers for link issues.

Network devices monitoring and initial checks.

Your experience and qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.

· Strong Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls).

· Experience with Major Incident Management and Problem Management is a must.

· 2+ Years of Enterprise Service Desk/Helpdesk or equivalent experience.

· +5 Years of NOC Experience with Monitoring tools such as HP, OBM/BMS & SolarWinds or equivalent.

· String Analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excelled communication skills, both verbal and written.
