The position is part of the International Markets Supply Chain and Global Logistics team. The role involves responsibility for inbound shipments to LATAM countries, third-party storage, and last-mile activities. The focus areas for this role include strategy implementation, operational excellence, costs, sustainability, and analytics (KPIs). How you’ll spend your day
General responsibilities:

Supports Director, Head of warehousing and last mile, in development and implementation of regional warehouse and last mile strategy.

Support the local/regional teams managing the performance of logistics suppliers, to include MBR/QBR meetings, CI plans and related projects or tasks.

Assess new technologies or IT tools to improve cost/service/quality/control. Work with IT and external service providers in implementation of advanced solutions.
Logistics-specific responsibilities:

Educate and support on all aspects of our transportation processes, documentations, bookings, monitoring.

Constantly drive tactical and strategic improvements through the logistic organization to lower cost and/or improve service levels, compliance, adherence, sustainability and the cost base.

Contribute CI improvements of the LLP partner and strategic LSP´s and other key strategic LSP´s in cluster.

Monitor LSP´s and other logistic partners of Teva and drive them to improvements.
Your experience and qualifications
-
Education – Preferably, Master’s degree, MBA, e.g. Logistics, Finance, Supply Chain.

Fluent English and Spanish spoken and writing.

6 years’ experience in the field of international trade, transport and logistics on a global level, ideally from Pharma or Life Science.

Professional certifications in Supply Chain is preferred e.g. from APICS (CSCP).

Proficiency with MS Office Suite (incl. Project and Visio), Exposure/experience with Supply Chain and logistic concepts MRP, MRPII. Exposure / Experience with ERP (Oracle/SAP), WMS (Manhattan) and WCS systems. Understanding of cGMP and SDLC methodology preferred.
