Job Description

Teva is searching for a Material Handler to join our team in Cincinnati, OH!


As the Material Handler, you will be the will focus on gaining the knowledge and understanding to successfully provide released components to the production areas. 


Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Learn to stage materials and pick jobs from production schedule as needed
  • Pick, kit and deliver released components to packaging and pharmacy departments to meet production schedule
  • Learn and understand the process of completing a cycle count
  • Move materials to different departmental locations throughout the facility upon request
  • Return unused components to inventory upon completion of production runs
  • Under close supervision, monitor communications from QA and planning groups in anticipation of incoming or outgoing shipments and learn the process of preparing outgoing shipments.



Position Requirements:

  • Education Required High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience Required Two or more years experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility.  Basic computer knowledge.
  • Experience Preferred Pharmaceutical warehouse or Inventory control or distribution center experience
  • Functional Knowledge  Proficient technical and attention to detail skills.  Strong Organizational and multi-tasking skills.  Demonstrates the ability to work in a team based culture and with company personnel from all levels. 
  • Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications preferred:: Forklift training preferred.
  • Hazardous waste handling training preferred.
  • Physical Requirements Regularly lift and / or move 50 pounds.
