Material Handler I - Full Time, Permanent - Night Shift (8pm - 6:30am - Mon - Thur - 10 hour shift)

The opportunity
The Material Handler I is the entry level material handler that will focus on gaining the knowledge and understanding to successfully provide released components to the production areas.
How you’ll spend your day
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Learn to stage materials and pick jobs from production schedule as needed.
- Pick, kit and deliver released components to packaging and pharmacy departments to meet production schedule.
- Learn and understand the process of completing a cycle count.
- Move materials to different departmental locations throughout the facility upon request.
- Return unused components to inventory upon completion of production runs.
- Under close supervision, monitor communications from QA and planning groups in anticipation of incoming or outgoing shipments and learn the process of preparing outgoing shipments.
- Support department and site projects as needed.
- Follows Teva Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Other projects and duties as required/assigned.
Your experience and qualifications
Education requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience requirements:
- Minimum Two or more years' experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Pharmaceutical warehouse or Inventory control or distribution center experience.
- Proficient technical and attention to detail skills.
- Strong Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Demonstrates the ability to work in a team based culture and with company personnel from all levels.
- Forklift training preferred.
- Hazardous waste handling training preferred.
