Teva Pharmaceuticals is looking to fill a Maintenance Technician II role in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is working to develop a good working knowledge of the Manufacturing facility and ancillary support equipment. This person will take direction from the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Lead and under their direction and the other Maintenance team members will be working to insure the manufacturing equipment is running at peak efficiencies. Once trained, this person will be responsible for the completion of the established preventive maintenance procedures, major and minor repairs on the manufacturing equipment as well as the ancillary equipment.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
• Schedule Preventive and Predictive maintenance based on the established schedules. This would include but is not limited to; Manufacturing Lines, Building Maintenance, Grounds, Warehouse, Boiler and Ancillary Equipment and Waste Water.
• Being effective and proactive in supporting the operations department.
• Timely closure of Routine and NRWO with proper documentation, e.g. Logbooks filled out and work order is detailed. Any issues are brought to management’s attention.
• Adherence to established policies, procedures and SOP’s.
• Housekeeping of the Maintenance Ownership areas to include the Maintenance Shop, Boiler room, Penthouse and Compressor area, Maintenance computer area and other areas as required to support the team. Support of the 5S mentality.
• Troubleshooting and repair of the manufacturing and ancillary equipment in the facility.
• Operation of the Building Automation System (BAS).
• Actively participate in operational improvement meetings, Safety Meetings and vendor consultations.
• Ability to use a multitude of electrical and mechanical test equipment and tools.
• Computer Literate and can use common computer programs such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Ability to learn new software with training.
Your Skills and Experience
Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in the manufacturing environment.
Also Good to Have
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
