We would like to invite applications for the role of HR Business Partner to act as a strategic HR business partner within the Teva UK Commercial business, coaching and enabling line managers to empower and enable their teams to achieve both business goals and career growth; and contributing to our goal of creating an excellent employee experience. 

We have sites in Harlow (Essex) and Ridings Point (Castleford, West Yorkshire) and we are flexible with location. We also have a hybrid approach to home-working!

PLEASE NOTE: this role is NOT a People Manager role (no team to manage) and start date will be January 2023

A day in the life of ...

  • You will work in partnership with line managers across the UK Commercial business to fully understand key business drivers and goals as well as current and future challenges in order to ensure employees are fully enabled and supported to meet business objectives.
  • You will support the delivery of key drivers of excellent employee experience, working alongside an HR Shared Service and a Learning & Development team to ensure empowerment and enablement of employees including:
    • Talent management & succession planning
    • Performance enablement
    • Reward & Recognition
    • Recruitment and onboarding
    • Diversity & Inclusion
    • Employee Relations
    • Leadership development
  • You will help to drive our vision of creating a Great Place to Work by designing and implementing innovative people initiatives across the Commercial business.
  • Working with European and Global colleagues and the wider UK & Ireland cluster, you will support the implementation and smooth running of global initiatives and processes optimising employee experience across the commercial business
  • You will coach and support managers to ensure the development of skills and knowledge in all areas of people management, working alongside Learning & Development teams
  • You will provide a people perspective to projects, identifying situations which have a people impact and influencing decisions made with a solution focussed mindset 
  • You will work in partnership with HR colleagues to ensure consistent, proactive HR support and activity is aligned with the key business objectives

Who we are looking for

Do you have...?

  • A solution focussed, innovative mindset and passionate about creating an excellent employee experience
  • Substantial generalist experience in HR, including experience of working as a business partner preferably within a commercial environment
  • The ability to embrace and drive change
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law & core HR practice and the ability to use this core knowledge to understand people impact and influence decision making.
