The opportunity

As Senior Director, Global Product Strategy – Neuroscience Early Pipeline - you will define the long term strategic vision, and lead the global product strategy for Teva’s early-stage neurology pipeline - translating scientific innovation into long-term brand and business value.  

 

This key global leadership role is responsible for identifying disease areas and commercial opportunities for our key early pipeline assets (Discovery to Ph2), as well as assessing external opportunities that could be licensed or acquired by Teva. You will collaborate closely with R&D, Business Development, Medical Affairs, and regional commercial teams to ensure early commercial input drives long-term value creation. 

 

This position will be based out of Parsippany, NJ in a hybrid work environment 2-3 days onsite, the Netherlands or the UK.

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Approximately up to 20% travel to support key meetings and cross-functional planning 

How you’ll spend your day

  • Develop and refine global commercial strategies for early-stage neurology assets aligned with Teva’s portfolio vision. 
  • Translate clinical and scientific data into early value propositions and strategic narratives to guide development and investment decisions. 
  • Shape target product profiles (TPPs), indication prioritization, and clinical endpoints to maximize future commercial potential. 
  • Partner with Business Development to evaluate external opportunities and provide strategic fit assessments. 
  • Lead commercial due diligence, including market sizing, competitive analysis, and unmet need validation. 
  • Support licensing, acquisition, and partnership decisions with robust commercial insights and scenario planning. 
  • Collaborate with R&D, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Regulatory to guide evidence generation and development strategy. 
  • Ensure early commercial input informs clinical development plans and go/no-go decisions. 
  • Conduct early market assessments, competitive intelligence, and stakeholder mapping to inform pipeline strategy. 
  • Develop long-range forecasts and strategic scenarios for pipeline assets. 
  • Engage with KOLs, advocacy groups, and external experts to validate strategic direction and shape early brand perception. 
  • Represent the commercial voice in governance forums and cross-functional pipeline teams. 

Your experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or other advanced degree preferred. 
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in pharma or life sciences, with a minimum of 10 years in commercial or marketing leadership. 
  • Strong background in pipeline strategy, business development, or early-stage asset evaluation. 
  • Proven success in developing strategies that drive competitive advantage and market share. 
  • Experience across multiple therapeutic areas; neurology preferred. 
  • Background in analytics and insights is a plus. 
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical R&D, regulatory, reimbursement, and commercial landscapes. 
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and a future-focused mindset. 
  • Recognized expert with a track record of influencing across matrixed organizations. 
  • Effective communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and contribute to talent development. 
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
