We are looking for a Facilities Technician (Electrical / Electronic) to join our Facilities Engineering department at out Ridings Point office. The successful candidate will install, maintain, examine, repair and monitor all electrical / electronic aspects of the Site Logistic and Automation systems, Warehouse and offices in a safe and timely manner in accordance with Electricity at work regulations (IEE17th Edition), HASAWA, COSHH, PUWER, GDP.

A Day in the Life of...

  • You will ensure that the Material Flow Control plant and building are maintained efficiently and effectively, giving speedy resolution of downtime.
  • You will implement and monitor all aspects of electrical and mechanical work on site.
  • You will ensure all relevant compliances with current legislation.
  • You will ensure Safe Working Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures are in place and followed.
  • You will have due regard for HASAWA, PUWER and Electricity at Work regulations and will recommend remedial actions as required in these areas.
  • You will be available for call out in the event of a failure.

Who we are looking for

Do you have….

  • Either your 17th or 18th edition qualification?
  • Strong knowledge of the Electricity at Work Regulations, HASAWA & PUWER?
  • Previous Electrical and Electronic experience in site related work?
  • Previous experience working in a PLC environment?
  • A current full UK driving licence?
