We would like to invite applications for the role of Demand Manager Associate at our Ridings Point (Castleford) site to be responsible for providing a SKU level Sales forecast for a selection of Portfolio and monitoring demand through incorporating business intelligence.

 

Please note that we offer a 9 months FTC.

A day in the life of a Demand Manager Associate...

  • Support the S&OP process to deliver required service level to customers, ensuring communication in and out of supply chain is first class
  • Monitor daily sales and ensure SKU forecast supports this and is communicated effectively to the supply chain
  • Engage with customers and sales teams, utilise Portfolio and Pricing functions, to help deliver the product level AOP
  • Maintain the sales manufacturing forecast by product for a selection of products
  • Interact with multiple functions to understand demand drivers
  • Utilize a collaborative/consensus approach with stakeholders to include current market intelligence in demand forecasts
  • Use & maintain Demand Planning software as primary forecasting system tool, ensuring data relevant to Demand planning system integrity is correct and maintained
  • Interact with the Centre of Excellence to understand the statical models applied at product level in order to maintain the sales manufacturing forecast

Who we are looking for

Do you have...?

  • Experience in Forecasting 
  • Experience in a Healthcare/FMCG environment (must include experience in supply chain plus Sales or Marketing, Business Development, Finance)
  • Experience/ Exposure to Sales & Operations Planning Processes 
  • Product management experience
  • Strong analytical abilities 
  • Strong influencing and people skills
  • Intermediate-Advanced Excel and Presentation skills

 

Are you...?

  • Educated to degree level (or A level if exceptional experience) with qualifications in Mathematics or business
  • Excellent oral and written communicator
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight time deadlines
  • Able to coordinate, lead, drive a Demand Planning Review & Sign off Meeting
