Main responsibilities and activities

 

In the Engineering Department we are looking for a brilliant profile reporting to the Site Engineering Head with the following responsibilities and activities:
 
 

  • Defines the maintenance and calibration plan and supervises their finalization, monitoring it in a continuous and accurate way, in line with defined timelines and respecting the specific budget.
  • Oversees the overall site maintenance, including machineries, utilities, electrical system and accessory instruments through the support of the maintenance team and subcontractors.
  • Manages site maintenance hard service contractor assigning priorities, defining monthly KPI and monitoring costs.
  • Ensures full alignment with the Company methods and procedures, guaranteeing appropriate levels of reliability and availability of all systems, machineries and equipment, in line with EHS and GMP required standards.
  • Manages deviations, tasks, CAPAs and all GMP impacts related to maintenance areas.
  • Supports the SGM, SEH and SPH in drawing up the site engineering plan & budget for the development of equipment and systems.
  • Oversees equipment and systems installation, outset and certification.
  • Evaluates and suggests equipment upgrades, to meet higher effectiveness and efficiency in line with EHS and GMP required standards.
  • Responsible for suggesting, developing and implementing specific maintenance projects.
  • In line with Human Resources Department policy, ensures the motivation and development of member staff. Proposes and takes appropriate action, where necessary.

Requirements

 

Main Requirements:

 

  • Quality Management System knowledge (GMP, GDP, Data Integrity) and duly application in all activities performed.
  • Knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety principles and applicable main EHS local regulations.
  • Knowledge of GEP (good engineering practices).
  • Full compliance with TEVA Ethic Code and Values.


Education:

 

Engineering Degree – preferably Chemical or Mechanical

 

Languages:     

 

Fluent English and Italian

 

Skills:

 

  • Excellent planning and organizational ability
  • Attitude to work cross-functionally in a complex and variable environment
  • Analytical skills
  • Problem solving mindset
  • IT systems familiarity

 

Experience:  

 

  • Min 3 years experience in maintenance roles within relevant industrial production environment.
  • Adequate knowledge and experience of chemical and pharmaceutical production.
  • Adequate working knowledge of GEP (good engineering practices).
