Job Description

We are looking for a Mobile Developer who is passionate about pushing technologies to the limits, and who will work with our team of talented engineers to design, build, and release iOS and Android mobile applications for the next generation of consumer-facing healthcare devices.

Working in a collaborative development environment, the Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting robust and engaging apps used by real patients, taking into consideration performance, privacy, security, and how best to consume RESTful web services from the back-end. The candidate will work with other developers on architectural and technical decisions, with UX leads on designs, and with product managers to help define functionality. The candidate will also be responsible for implementing and following development processes that comply with medical regulations while enabling the team to work efficiently.



Education Required:   Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience is required.

Education Preferred:    A MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. 
Experience Required:    4+ years software development experience with a proven robust portfolio required. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications needed:    Experience with  native iOS (Swift, Core Data, Core Animation, Core Bluetooth, etc.) and/or Android (Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, etc.) development and publishing. Experience with Dart and Flutter preferred.
Experience writing unit and functional tests. Experience integrating with 3rd party RESTful web services. Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy and integrating with hardware devices. Experience with scalability / reliability /security. An ability to set up and use a version control system such as Git. An ability to work autonomously and in a team with limited direct supervision. An ability to understand and contribute to functional requirements. An ability to clearly document features and technical and infrastructure requirements.
Company/Industry Related Knowledge:    Proven experience developing enterprise products for the pharmaceutical industry is a plus. Knowledge of the respiratory space is a plus.
