Role Purpose:
Performs analysis, not only testing of starting material. Prepares materials and planning for product testing.
Areas of Impact:
Support function which prepares materials, planning for product testing, sample receipt and destruction. May perform less complex analyses. I have concerns with ""Review raw material samples""
Job Aspect:
Works within defined processes and procedures or methodologies and may help determine the appropriate approach for new assignments
Responsible for various lab analysis, uses appropriate analytical methods,
qualification, calibration, preventative maintenance and regular checks and comments may be side activities
Performs a variety of qualitative or qualitative tests on samples using techniques that vary from standard analytical equipment to highly modern and automated instrumentation, aides in maintenance and certification of test instruments and apparatus to ensure compliance
Competencies:
Skilled, can train new hires
Tasks are mainly analytical, side actions may be admin / clerical in nature
Requires working knowledge or skills developed through formal training or experience
Capabilities / Technical Skills:
As per skills matrix per site process
Qualifications / Trainings:
GxP certification - Internal, based on the site and Job Specific training system
Quality / work procedures trainings
Education: (Expected level of Education, may be impacted by Technology / Site Complexity)
High School diploma required.
Bachelors in Chemical, Pharmaceutical or Biological field a plus.
