In March 2006, the Icelandic group Actavis bought the Sindan company and in 2016, Teva acquired the generics division (Actavis Generics) of the global manufacturer Allergan (from this year Sindan became part of the Teva group).
Following the global acquisition, Teva's portfolio in Romania expanded by taking over the factory of oncology drugs intended for both domestic consumption and export – Sindan Pharma.

Job Description
We are looking for an IT operations coordinator, Sindan Pharma located in Bucharest, Romania.
Primary purpose of position:
The ideal candidate is responsible for IT services and the daily management for TGO (Teva Global Operations) on Sindan pharmaceutical manufacturing site. The key focus of the role is to manage site-specific systems; as well as supporting global programs and initiatives, which will be planned for implementation. This role engages and ensures global services are delivered to the requirements and in the SLA for the site, as per business operating hours. The collaboration and coordination aspects are key to be successful in this role.
Main Responsibilities are organized in 3 sections:
• ensure the good functioning of all IT systems in the site :
• Local applications managing a limited part of the overall process
• Local instances of global applications (Most of them directly integrated to the manufacturing equipment)
• Data Integrity support services to industrial control systems
• Full ownership of local lab computerized systems
• local support for the site employees with the help of the external partners :
• Local Application Management: Enhancements, upgrades, validation, budget, vendor SLA, user support, interfaces monitoring, legacy systems retirement
• Maintaining integration of IT application to equipment, IT tools
• Lab instruments ownership: Complete validation cycle, data integrity solutions, CFR part 11 requirements
• Compliance: Periodic reviews, audit preparation
• Acting as key site interface for global projects & IT services
- ensure the transposition of global procedures at local level
Main requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computing, science or a related subject / equivalent field experience
- 5+ years’ experience across a broad range of IT systems (Focused on Manufacturing Operations and Quality)
- Pharma Validation experience – GXP / GMP preferred
- Issuing and maintaining standard operating procedures related to IT
- Strong process analysis and modelling skills
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
- Quick orientation in a complex environment and matrix organization
- Very good command of English
- Excellent communications skills and a leadership profile
- Self-confident, energetic and enthusiastic personality
