About the role

The role will report to the Head of Government Affairs & ESG Europe in Brussels and will work closely with senior managers across the business. The individual will need to develop a quick understanding of a range of complex public policy issues and work with internal and external partners to ensure that is able to inform the policy debate effectively while advocating for Teva’s position externally.


  • Develop and maintain a strong network of EU policy makers as well as strong and trusted partnership to stakeholders actives in the field of pharmaceutical and public health policy of interest for Teva ;
  • Identify, analyse and report future pharmaceutical, healthcare & ESG policies, legislative and non-legislative, which have an impact on Teva’s business development and sustainability to a large group of senior managers within the company ;
  • Develop a fully integrated public affairs plan focused (but not limited to) on driving Patient Access– including a contact program – to advocate for approved Teva’s position and key messages, monitor and report impact ;
  • Represent the company in external fora including therapy area coalitions such as migraine and respiratory patient groups, and in trade association working groups ;
  • Represent the function in TA brand team and support the development and execution of  a business relevant GA strategy notably to support Market & Patients Access Strategy
  • Oversee together with the Government Affairs & ESG Europe’s Head  Teva internal policy activities as well as the development, management and delivery of Teva’s policies and related briefing materials to internal audiences, including ensuring effective relay towards Teva’s GA local network,
  • Support the development of an effective and targeted ESG advocacy plan, prioritizing key elements that help both build reputation and drive commercial growth for Teva.
  • Support senior management in managing external relationships, developing brief and materials to inform the organization on policy development ;
  • In conjunction with the Head, contribute to strategy development and strategic planning of the function ;

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Extensive experience in managing a public affairs role for at least 5 years .
  • Strong experience & understanding in the healthcare/pharmaceutical/ Market Access/ESG public policy.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex topics.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an already established network of stakeholders.
  • Experience in the EU Institutions like the European Parliament.
  • Creative, proactive, open and out of the box thinker, team oriented person with strong notion of personal accountability.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, facilitation and influencing skills.
