Job Description

  • Develop, maintain, and manage collaborative relationships with External Experts (EEs) and other healthcare professionals in the areas of Psychiatry and Movement Disorders
  • Develop and demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of Teva, its products, current medical and scientific research and publications in therapeutic areas of interest to Teva
  • Provide relevant medical and scientific support, including medical education presentations, for healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and support internal partners from medical side (e.g., sales training, advisory meetings, marketing-led initiatives, literature search etc.)
  • Respond to requests for medical information and/or unsolicited questions in a scientific, fair-balanced, compliant manner
  • Professionally represent Teva at select medical meetings and programs
  • Assist clinical development in identifying potential investigators and sites for company sponsored clinical trials; support clinical trials, and investigator management as required in collaboration with clinical operations/clinical research
  • Complete accurate and timely administrative reports, projects, and other required documentation
  • Work closely with the other members of Teva Medical Affairs to inform product strategy and translate medical insights into actions
  • Reports Adverse Events related or potentially related to Teva products to Pharmacovigilance team
  • Partner with matrix colleagues (e.g. sales, marketing, market access, etc.) to ensure strategies and business plans are both patient and business focused, and adding value to the external expert

Qualifications

  • Scientific degree (M.D., D.O., Ph.D., Pharm.D.) or equivalent required (relevant residency and/or fellowship experience preferred)
  • Relevant therapeutic and/or clinical experience within Movement Disorders or Psychiatry desired
  • An established track record of effective and influential oral presentations for the healthcare professionals
  • Strong skills of scientific literature critical analysis with ability to transform the data into compelling scientific story
  • 1+ years industry experience preferably in the MSL role but other experience will be considered
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to work effectively and share information within a team environment
  • Requires up to 80% of time in field
