Job Description

Peptide Technology and process engineering is a specialized position leading cutting edge technology and manufacturing of  strategic high quality active pharmaceutical ingredients (API'S). This role will be working in a cross functional matrix organization and in multiply operation sites to support Teva api business objectives, Responsible for technology transfers from R&D, Scale up, manufacturing of peptide and product cost and robustness improvements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

-  E2E responsibility of all engineering aspects of Peptide manufacturing

- Responsible for Technology transfer of new Peptide projects from R&D to manufacturing sites.

- Responsible for implementing cutting Edge technology for Peptide manufacturing

- Responsible for planning and executing activities   to improve quality, efficiency and cost of existing manufacturing processes

- Responsible for implementation of methodology for process and manufacturing documentation and Data analytics.

- Responsible for implementation of modernization tools for Peptide manufacturing

- Responsible for advanced process troubleshooting, implement process changes  

- Develop Best practices, Routines and Innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality outputs

- Develop and maintain safety and procedures of peptide manufacturing

- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with network interfaces such as : R&D, RA, Other production sites an pharma costumers

- Monitor KPIs to assess performance


  • Bachelor’s Degree in chemical/ biotechnology  Engineering or related discipline required  (Master's preferred )
  • 5+ years with proven history in pharmaceutical industry: process development and/or improvements, Scale up of chemical processes, engineering process design and troubleshooting. preferred experience in peptide Manufacturing
  • Experience as project management
  • Previous experience leading  process improvement/new product transfer projects
  • Experience with downstream processes : chromatography , ultrafiltration and crystallization
  • The position is located in Teva Tech (Neot Hovav). Travelling is required between Teva sites (Netanya and Neot Hovav).


Required Skills:
•    Excellent technical skills
•    Excellent knowledge of laboratory and /or technical tools in industrial settings 
•    knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice in a regulated industry
•    Experience as a project manager/planner
•     Experience with Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments, and root cause analysis 
•    Team player and able to build and maintain relationships both internal and external.
•    Strong analytical abilities and Problem-solving skills
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
•    Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
•    Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
•    Ability to lead cross functional initiatives 
•    Fluent communication in English
