Position Summary

As the Business Unit Manager, you will be responsible for leading the hospital team and managing business performance by developing Hospital Generics business strategy, launch readiness, and tender management aligned with company objectives. This role will involve setting business objectives and direction in both Mature and Promoted Generics business.

You will be accountable for maximizing resource allocation budget to execute targeting valuable customer, multi-channel engagement, and non-sales KPI achievement. You will also be involved with customer management of KOLs and key authorizer in hospitals.

This role will report to the Commercial Director.

Job Description


  • Manage, supervise and lead hospital team through effective new hire, coaching and performance management.
  • Analyse, develop, execute and monitor to achieve business plan.
  • Analyse business opportunity, customer needs, market environment to ensure successful new product launch readiness, secure existing product, and win tender business.
  • Identify and implement marketing strategies and programs in collaboration with sales and technical teams.
  • Manage sales and marketing activities for hospital and clinic.
  • Be accountable for sales forecasting both short-term and long-term plan, budget and resources allocation plan i.e. A&P, FTE, etc.
  • Prepare and propose pricing strategy.
  • Utilize SFE, target cycle plan, multichannel integrated, engagement tool, report, incentivize program to maximize customer engagement and salesforces productivity.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Science or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing a business unit in the hospital channel, preferably with experience from top 10 generic companies
  • High managerial and leadership abilities with demonstrated experience in building a successful team
  • Fluent in English communication and good presentation skills
  • Good analytical skills to identify business gaps and seeking new opportunities to expand Hospital business
  • Strong marketing & planning skills to develop specific plans and goals to enhance team efficiency
  • Sound decision making and problem solving skills with capacity to develop innovative ideas
