Job Description

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) functions as a local medical and scientific resource responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with National External Experts (EEs) in support of key medical objectives. The MSL engages in fair-balanced scientific exchange with EEs, provides education of health care providers on Teva products and disease states of interest.


  • Develop, maintain, and manage collaborative relationships with External Experts (EEs) and other healthcare professionals (senior level)
  • Develop and demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of Teva, its products, current medical and scientific research and publications in therapeutic areas of interest to Teva
  • Provide relevant medical and scientific support, including medical education presentations, scientific information, clinical safety information, and health economics
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and support internal partners from medical side (e.g., sales training, advisory board meetings, medical-led initiatives, literature search etc.)
  • Respond to requests for medical information and/or unsolicited questions in a scientific, fair-balanced, compliant manner
  • Professionally represent Teva at medical meetings and medical booth activities
  • Assist clinical development in identifying potential investigators and sites for company sponsored clinical trials; support clinical trials, and investigator management as required in collaboration with clinical operations/clinical research
  • Complete accurate and timely administrative reports, projects, and other required documentation
  • Work closely with the other members of Teva to inform product strategy and translate medical insights into actions
  • Provides pharmacovigilance support and reports Adverse Events related or potentially related to Teva products to Pharmacovigilance team


  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Scientific (related Health Science or Pharm.D.) or equivalent is required
  • Advantage plus if the candidates have an established track record of effective and influential oral presentations for the healthcare professionals
  • Strong skills of scientific literature critical analysis with ability to transform the data into compelling scientific story
  • 2-3 years industry experience preferably in the MSL role but other experience in local pharmaceutical industry will be considered as well
  • Proficiency in English (upper-intermediate)
  • Requires up to 80% of time in F2F meeting with EEs
  • Good attitude in working cross-functionally and supporting business
  • Demonstrate a can do ability and high responsibility for achievement
