The opportunity

  • The sales reporting team lead is responsible for managing a team of data and BI subject matter experts, establishing best practices in supporting the BI COE for NA including technology, governance and delivery processes. Managing projects and task priorities for the team, meeting SLA’s for issue resolution and continuously improving the capability and competence of the COE to support US sales reporting demands.
  • This role is responsible for developing key metrics, uncovering vital insights and delivering critical analysis that will lead to data-informed decisions and guide business strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with sales operations, department heads and teammates to use data to drive the success of the organization.

How you’ll spend your day

  • Partnering closely with US sales operations team in understanding their priorities and taking on as well as assigning work to your team
  • Develop Tableau reports and dashboards used by home office and field based employees
  • Help create vision and strategy for establishing a data-driven decision-making culture
  • Partner with stakeholder managers to define scope and requirements for data analytics and report creation
  • Optimize report creation for performance and KPI derived value
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and management
  • Communicate issues, risks, and concerns proactively to management
  • Work with Tableau/Salesforce to review roadmap and adopt best practices
  • Manage license pool, utilization and demand management forecasting
  • Run service now and Jira reports and analyze for customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Your experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 10+ years relevant experience
  • 10+ years relevant professional experience covering advanced BI, data science, statistical analysis, or enterprise reporting
  • 5+ years of experience as a Tableau Administrator and Architect
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a team lead, directly managing a team
  • Experience in setting up repositories, users, and security management
  • Experience in developing complex SQL code including stored procedures & views
