How You’ll Spend Your Day

  • Extensive understanding of requirements covered by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), with respect to all financial processes
  • Testing the design and effectiveness of existing ICFR framework, support remediation actions where necessary and ensure documentation is appropriate of all required measures.
  • Support and align with TEVA SOX Managers and Global and European financial compliance Heads.
  • Effectively communicate and cooperate with all stakeholders affected by SOX withing the scope of their assigned activities
  • Consult the Regional SOX Compliance Leader in case of any questions or concerns.
  • Testing of control design (walkthrough) according to Teva's SOX methodology 
  • Testing of controls for effectiveness according to Teva's SOX methodology
  • Obtaining /maintaining sufficient documentation/ audit evidence for all work performed
  • Coordinating and monitoring the remediation procedures for the business with impacted stakeholders where testing exceptions are noted
  • Maintaining SOX database (AuditBoard) including the updating of system users and issuance of communications through this SOX system
  • Performing activities related to certain SOX projects within the team as required.
  • Completing all required status reporting to Regional SOX Compliance Leader or other team members as prescribed.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in testing and control frameworks for companies subject to SOX requirements
  • Holding additional certifications in Accounting, or Audit is an advantage
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite and SAP required
  • Pharmaceutical industry knowledge preferred 
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work according to set time schedules and deliver in a timely manner
  • Be self-motivated and strive for excellence
