The opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Workplace Senior System Engineer, based in India, to support the transformation of our digital workplace services. This role will be responsible for the technical implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of our modern workplace technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, strong collaboration skills, and a passion for delivering secure, efficient, and user-friendly digital experiences.
How you’ll spend your day
• Strategy & Collaboration: Contribute to the execution of the modern workplace roadmap, ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies. Work closely with team members to drive innovation and continuous improvement across all workplace technologies.
o Technology Ownership: Manage, optimize and support the use of key workplace technologies and endpoint management tools like MS SCCM and MS Intune (in co-managed Windows environments) for Windows device management. Manage JAMF Pro for macOS devices management and SOTI MobiControl for specialized endpoints, Windows 365 Virtual Desktop.
o Application packaging & deployment: Handle application packaging, imaging processes, and device provisioning (including Intune Autopilot for Windows deployments).
o Patching & updates: Oversee patch management for client MS Window endpoints, utilizing Microsoft Autopatch and SCCM to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
o Collaboration tools: Support OneDrive for Business and related Office 365 services for secure file access and collaboration.
o Policy management: Implement and fine-tune device configuration policies, including Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and Intune compliance policies, to enforce security and compliance across the enterprise.
• Service Optimization: Identify and execute opportunities to streamline and modernize workplace services. Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all endpoint management platforms. Collaborate with security, infrastructure, architecture, and support teams to maintain compliance and achieve operational excellence in service delivery. Monitor system health, KPIs, and SLAs, and assist in preparing regular reports to inform leadership and drive service quality improvements.
Your experience and qualifications
• University degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience is not mandatory but is a plus.
• Proven experience in modern workplace or endpoint management roles (e.g., as a systems engineer or administrator in a large enterprise).
• Advanced Hands-on expertise with endpoint management tools SCCM, Intune (including co-management setups). Knowledge in JAMF Pro, and/or SOTI MobiControl is a plus.
• Good Knowledge in Group Policy management and Intune configuration policies for Windows environments. Solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, security, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in application packaging and software deployment processes. Experience with Intune Autopilot for device onboarding and managing update cycles with Windows Autopatch and SCCM.
• Experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing Windows 365 Virtual Desktop solutions is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Continuous learning mindset and willingness to adopt new technologies.
• Very good English proficiency, both written and spoken.
