The opportunity

In this position, you are part of the Finance GBS Team and work closely with the Internal GBS team, COE team, Global Controlling / Finance directors, Finance Leads and Supply chain team

How you’ll spend your day

  • Apply advanced statistical methods, machine learning, and data mining techniques to analyze data from various sources
  • Explore data, identify patterns and trends, and create visualizations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain predictive models for various business areas, such as sales forecasting, inventory management, and customer behavior
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business problems, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Design and implement analytical solutions to address business challenges, leveraging data to support decision-making
  • Deploy analytical models and track their performance, as needed to ensure continued effectiveness.
  • Identify new opportunities to leverage data and analytics to drive business innovation and create competitive advantages. 
  • Ensure that analytical solutions are aligned with overall business strategy and objectives
  • Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership and business stakeholders
  • Work with other departments, such as IT, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and collaboration on projects

Your experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business/Administration, Education, Technical, Finance, MBA, Information Technology
  • 8+ years of experience & ability to work independently taking a lead role
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as SQL, Python, R, or Tableau
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Expertise in advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
  • Flexible and able to work in a changing environment
  • Strong focus on improvement opportunities
