The opportunity

●    Responsible for the strategic direction, governance, and overall performance of Teva's global SAP Application Maintenance & Support (AMS) function, including S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, SAC, and other core SAP solutions, ensuring sustainable, compliant, and value-driven operations across all regions.
●    Govern enterprise-wide SAP changes and transformations, ensuring alignment with Teva's IT strategy, compliance standards, and business continuity objectives across financial, supply chain, manufacturing, and analytics operations.
●    Lead the evaluation and integration of new partner tools, technologies, and automation frameworks into the SAP AMS landscape to enhance predictive capabilities, operational efficiency, and service resilience.
●    Oversee technology lifecycle planning and strategic investment prioritization to address aging systems, mitigate operational risks, and ensure cost-effective platform evolution.
●    Drive strategic collaboration with business and technology partners to ensure effective adoption of SAP improvements, process harmonization, and value realization from partner-driven enhancements.
●    Oversee change, demand, and release management governance frameworks for SAP applications, ensuring controlled execution, regulatory adherence, and audit readiness.
●    Monitor SAP AMS performance metrics, SLAs, and automation initiatives to ensure operational reliability, continuous optimization, and measurable business impact.
●    Represent SAP AMS at enterprise forums, influencing strategic investment, roadmap prioritization, and long-term technology direction aligned with Teva's global objectives.

How you’ll spend your day

•    Provide strategic leadership and global governance across SAP Application Maintenance & Support operations, including S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, SAC, and other SAP solutions, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with Teva's global IT strategy.
•    Oversee enterprise-wide SAP service delivery across all modules and regions, ensuring system stability, performance optimization, and business continuity for Teva.
•    Provide strategic AMS support for SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives, cloud migration strategies, and RISE with SAP programs, ensuring operational readiness, system stability during transitions, and sustained post-implementation support.
•    Ensure global governance frameworks for Problem, Change, Incident, and Demand Management specific to SAP applications, ensuring standardization, risk management, and audit readiness.
•    Oversee SAP maintenance release management, including deployment of support packs, security patches, quarterly updates, and technical upgrades, ensuring controlled execution and minimal business disruption.
•    Ensure adherence to global regulatory and compliance standards including SOX, GxP, GDPR, and internal audit requirements across all SAP systems, maintaining comprehensive documentation and audit trails.
•    Provide executive oversight of partner management, operational governance, and service performance, including scope definition, statement of work negotiations, and resource planning with co-sourcing partners, ensuring SLA compliance, audit readiness, and effective service delivery.
•    Champion a performance-driven culture by monitoring service KPIs, SLAs, system performance metrics, and user satisfaction scores, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Your experience and qualifications

•    Over 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical or related industries
•    Proven global experience in leading large-scale IT organizations
•    More than 8 years of experience in a managerial role
•    Demonstrated and sustained success in delivering complex IT services to a diverse client base
•    Proven experience in project planning, methodology, budget, and AOP
•    Ability to lead large-scale organizations including senior leadership teams
•    Understanding pharmaceutical operations, business processes, and related solutions
•    Solid technical foundation in enterprise platform technologies to effectively evaluate technical proposals, guide architectural decisions, and provide informed leadership to technical teams and vendor partners
