We are currently looking for an Accountant located in Athens, Greece.

How you’ll spend your day

 

•    Bookkeeping and maintenance of local accounting entries
•    Month closing compliance & tax procedures
•    Monitoring of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets & Capex Records
•    Reconciliation of bank account balances & cash transactions 
•    Participating in the company’s financial reporting & tax compliance routines
•    Providing support to statutory & tax audits

Your experience and qualifications

 

•    Bachelor degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field
•    Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience. Prior experience in Pharma Sector will be considered as an additional qualification
•    Knowledge of Greek GAAP (experience with IFRS will be taken into consideration)
•    Experience with accounting Singular Enterprise ERP / SAP will be considered as a plus
•    Strong Microsoft Office knowledge
•    Attention to detail, diligence and ability to organize own time and work priorities
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
•    Ability to handle sensitive & confidential information
•    Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, operational departments & external parties
