Purpose of the role

 

The HR Project Manager is responsible for the project management and delivery of global / local HR initiatives, according to our People Agenda, and to localize HR global processes. She/he will be responsible for creating, managing, and executing various projects to standardize and strengthen HR practice across the organization, as well as preparing framework and materials for our HR processes. The HR Project Manager works closely with the Ass. HR Director, the local HR Sr. Manager, global HR stakeholders and the relevant functions to ensure the smooth delivery of key HR processes and projects.

Main responsibilities and activities

 

In the Human Resources Department we are looking for a brilliant profile reporting to Associate Director HR with the following responsibilities and activities:

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Supporting the Ass. HR Director in the People Agenda definition.
  • In collaboration with the HR global team, localize our global HR processes (i.e. Performance, Talent Review, Onboarding, annual Employee Survey, etc.). 
  • In collaboration with the HR global team, localize our global HR projects or initiatives (i.e. leadership training programs, wellbeing / inclusion & diversity campaigns, etc.).
  • Manage the end-to-end process, from the design to the implementation phase, for local HR projects / initiatives according to business needs and our People Agenda (i.e. talent program, people managers ad hoc trainings, volunteering initiatives, etc.). 
  • Manage HR analytics and dashboards related to HR projects and processes.

 

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

 

  • Supporting the Ass. HR Director in the People Agenda Strategy definition, including new HR opportunities / needs identification, documents preparation and cascading.
  • For the localization of our global HR processes: plan, coordinate, prepare materials, tracking and reporting on status, prepare and cascade the related comms activities together with the Communication team. Work with the HR Sr. Manager to organize the cascading to our population.
  • For global HR projects or initiatives: in collaboration with global stakeholders, plan, coordinate, prepare materials, tracking and reporting on status, prepare and cascade the related comms activities together with the Communication team. Work with the HR Sr. Manager to organize the cascading to our population.
  • For local HR projects / initiatives (including in our People Agenda): define project scope, goals, and deliverables; develop detailed project plan, timeline, and budget; if required, manage relations and negotiations with external partners. Coordinate and lead the project, prepare materials, tracking and reporting on status, prepare and cascade the related comms activities together with the Communication team. Work with the HR Sr. Manager to organize the cascading to our population.

Requirements

 

Background:

 

  • Master’s degree in economics or human resources or related field.
  • At least 5 years’ proven working experience in HR department.
  • Experience in consulting companies is recommended.
  • Experience of planning and executing HR projects of varying size and complexity.
  • A Project Management Certification is preferred.

 

Skills:

 

  • Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and trends.
  • Recognized project management skills.
  • Execution focused, consistently deliver against aggressive timelines.
  • Excellent active listening, creative problem solving and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects with competing priorities.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal cross-functions relationships.
  • Change management skills.
