The opportunity
The person we seek will be responsible for driving the global Inline Optimization program including VIP initiatives and all global Gx risk mitigation product initiatives across the company to protect and expand $9bn of Sales of the Gx Franchise inline product portfolio and in support of the key pillars of the Pivot to Growth Strategy. This role will ensure this program and the mitigation initiatives are managed across all involved teams in line with the commercial GX Franchise Strategy and its targets.
This new function will provide global strategic guidance, governance and if needed prioritization of all global cross-functional activities related to the Portfolio Optimization program, VIP and risk mitigation initiatives. He/she will focus on increasing the value of the global Gx inline Portfolio by reducing cost of goods through harmonizing, streamlining supply chains and manufacturing processes which will lead to a growth in our markets through increased competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure VIP- and Optimization program (i.e., Sourcing Changes, Site Transfers and Material Changes) is executed on time and in line with P2G and commercial Gx Franchise Strategy including Portfolio risk remediation activities (i.e. Nitrosamines, TiO2, pFAS).
- Design and provide reporting of strategic achievements and value creation through optimization and protected values through risk mitigation to the Gx Franchise Steering Committee.
- Represent single and clear overarching point of accountability for successful execution of the inline Gx program.
- Negotiate and agree on relevant commitments with involved BU leaders across the company to realize projects as planned.
- Design, align and drive implementation of relevant cross-functional processes between BUs/Teams to close gaps or remove roadblocks.
- Provide continuous detailed global reporting on strategy progress and deliverables (savings, risk mitigations).

- Exhibits excellent understanding of key commercial and technical requirements
Your experience and qualifications
- Master Degree preferable in Business / Managerial Sciences and connected areas
- English, and preferably one foreign language
- 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/chemical industry
- Strong operational experience with exposure to various areas i.e., Finance, Commercial, R&D, preferable in Teva
- Very strong leadership capabilities especially cross-functional without direct authority
- Excellent project management capabilities, result-oriented
- Very strong communication skills
- Multi-cultural mindset and can-do attitude
- Ability for strategic thinking in complex global business environment
