Your role
This role is based in Amsterdam and will require travelling (20%).
The purpose if this position as well as your key responsibilities will be the following:
- Lead and execute all finance related tasks proactively, serve and proactively support Medical Affairs EU team members in all aspects of financial planning
- Provide strategic support to VP and Head of EU Medical Affairs in regional and global activities
- Lead strategic initiatives at Regional level
- Ensure proper tracking and oversight governance to all Company Sponsored Studies and Investigator Sponsored Studies in EU region
- Lead implementation of new Global Study Tracking system at EU level
- Manage training and coordination of new system implementation in EU
- Ensure EU region is continuously compliant in study governance
- Enable and support the success of EU Country and Europe Medical Teams
- Be a key member of the Europe HQ Medical Team by providing strategic support and problem solving
- Support EU medical team by proactively obtain information from various departments to enable and help with complex problem solving
- Support EU HQ Medical team by preparing slides, documents, presentations to meet urgent requests in a fast pace global environment.
- Organize strategic EU Medical Leadership Team Meetings

Your profile
• University degree in Business Management, Life Sciences, MD, PhD (not limited to this and other backgrounds will be considered)
• Project Management experience in compliance, clinical operations or finance
• Preferably 2-3 years of Healthcare or pharma experience
• Preferably experience or understanding of study administrative oversight (Investigator Sponsored Studies and Company Sponsored Studies)
• Fluent English
• Collaborative and flexible team player
• Strong self-accountability and execution skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment on multiple projects with aggressive deadlines
• Team-oriented, energetic and passionate about making a difference;
• Proactive and solution-oriented
