Your role

The Head of Europe and International Markets Insights (EIMI) will lead the Insight team supporting the Teva Specialty, Generics and OTC business within Europe and International Markets as part of the Digital Health and Global Commercial Analytics group.  Position is responsible for catalyzing a performance-driven culture and developing a team of strategic, results-oriented, and collaborative business partners who identify opportunities and deliver actionable insight that drive competitive advantage for Teva.
 

You will have responsibility for prioritizing activities and integrating the data sources and insights required to drive success within Europe and International Markets.  Role will be the key contact for Commercial leadership, as well as a connection point with other key roles across Europe and International Markets including Finance, Forecasting, Legal, Market Access, Communications, Digital, and Commercial Operations.  Role will also serve as a key representative on the Digital Health and Global Commercial Analytics Leadership Team, along with the Heads of North America Insights and Global Insights. 
 

You will be expected to advise and partner with all levels of management across the organization and will therefore require a high degree of business acumen and understanding, strong collaboration and interdependent partnering skills, and proven ability to activate and lead a strong Insight team in support of organizational priorities.   

Your responsibilities

  • Serve as a key strategic partner to European and International Markets Commercial leadership through active involvement in strategy development, brand performance, and business planning.  Ensure that insight plans, activities, and deliverables align with leadership priorities and are communicated appropriately.
  • As part of the Digital Health and Global Commercial Analytics Leadership Team, provide a clear vision, mission, and process for the Insight organization, as well as forward looking leadership to build best practice capabilities
  • Partner with the Global and North America Insight Teams to ensure alignment to Global strategies and to enable sharing of best practice and customer driven insights across the organization. 
  • Partner with key analytics functional leads such as Forecasting, Data & Reporting, Finance, and Sales Operations to build strong cross-functional Insight communities in support of organizational priorities.  Insight communities should drive to integrated views of performance and aligned recommendations for actions to drive the business.
  • Deliver on our mission in support of the Europe and International Markets Commercial team through leadership of direct and indirect reports working across primary and secondary market research, competitive intelligence, and market analytics with ties to forecasting.  The team must function as strategic, results-oriented, and collaborative business partners who identify opportunities and deliver actionable insight that drive competitive advantage for Teva. 

Your profile

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably with a degree focused in business, marketing, statistics, mathematics, or related field.  MBA or MS is preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in strategic insights, market research, business analytics, forecasting, finance or a related field is required.
  • Experience working in healthcare is required, pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred and knowledge of the OTC market / Consumer behaviors is a plus
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing people is required.
  • Working knowledge of industry primary market research tools and techniques, secondary data, competitive intelligence, and forecasting is required.
  • Demonstrated experience creating innovation in development of customer insights and/or business analytics is preferred.   
  • Proficiency in Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, and PowerPoint, and basic knowledge of analytical tools (eg SPSS, SAS or Tableau) preferred.
  • Occasional travel will be required, typically 20% of time each year
