Job Description

  1. To carry out analytical method development, method validation and testing of impurities for API and finished products on LCMS/MS and GCMS/MS.
  2. Knowledge on Nitrosamine impurities, identifying potential risk of nitrosamine contamination (e.g. from recovered materials such as solvents, reagents and catalysts, equipment, degradation, starting materials or intermediates)
  3. Review of analytical results and suggest further course of action.
  4. To carry out analytical method transfer activity.
  5. Preparation and updation of STP and analytical related SOPs.
  6. Laboratory resources management.
  7. To execute analytical method validation as per the protocol and to complete the required documentation.
  8. Trouble shooting of analytical instruments for difficulties faced during day-to-day operations.
  9. Calibration and maintenance of analytical instruments. Maintenance includes activities such as Qualification, keeping track of AMC, History, Spares, Usage records etc.
  10. To ensure that all activities undertaken are executed in the framework of good laboratory and documentation practices and the existing quality systems are adhered to.
