The opportunity

We are seeking a Legal Associate to join Teva Global Business Services Contracting Center of Excellence Team. The ideal candidate must be a team-oriented professional with a global perspective and an enthusiastic, positive attitude. This individual will possess the personality and ability to cultivate constructive working relationships across various legal departments and Teva’s business units, contributing to the organization's success.

How you’ll spend your day

  • Create, update, and maintain organized electronic contract files
  • Provide corporate support by supplying relevant company information for various documentation and inquiries
  • Offer step-by-step support to users of legal systems used within Teva
  • Conduct research in contracts databases and provide contract details to internal business partners
  • Monitor and analyze contract deadlines and conditions accurately
  • Assist in reviewing and enhancing contract templates
  • Review Confidentiality Agreements (CDAs), including redlining, coordinating signatures, and updating CDA database and files accordingly
  • Coordinate contract negotiations and execution between legal and business units
  • Analyze legal questions: examine legal matters, identify potential issues, and provide insights or recommendations to support decision-making process
  • Review Teva’s and Third Party’s General Terms and Conditions
  • Evaluate revisions to Teva’s standard templates
  • Manage the database of contracts and other templates
  • Support data privacy inquiries and evaluations, implement and review standard Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), and other related documents
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize documents for legal review and contract negotiation
  • Provide general support and assistance to legal counsels when needed
  • Assist in ad hoc projects as needed

Your experience and qualifications

Education and Experience: 

  • Law faculty degree
  • No or limited work experience in legal field, in either a law firm or in-house
  • Experience with administrative legal support and contractual work in English is a plus
  • Experience with the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare area is a plus

 
Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively engage with customers at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal and solid presentation skills
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills, coupled with a proactive attitude and attention to detail
  • Adaptability to a dynamic work environment and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in analytical skills and confidence in handling multiple data sets
  • Strong interpersonal skills and solid presentation abilities
