Job Description

The CCoE Technical Lead is an IT role aimed at successfully helping IT Infrastructure organization implement, deploy, secure and manage public/private clouds. As a lead of cloud engineers and technical professionals with broad skills that extend beyond the domain of any particular IT Infrastructure. A cloud engineer will typically assume multiple personas, including “the IT professional,” “the communicator” and “the business liaison.” These personas correspond to technical skills, interpersonal skills and business skills, respectively.

 

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years hands on experience of IT Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering with experience in Infrastructure design, automation and administration.
  • Proven experience with one of the major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Previous experience with software development, infrastructure development, or development and operations
  • Experience with Linux infrastructures, relational and not relational databases, CI/CD tools, scripting such as JavaScript, Python, PowerShell
  • Infrastructure as a code and Configuration Management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, PowerShell DSC
  • Pipeline management and strong understanding of code management cycle
  • Source control: GitLab, Bitbucket, Github
  • Experience with VMware vRA and vRO
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines and present a professional demeanor is essential.
  • Ability to build professional relationships with cross functional teams.
  • Customer service skills, including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude are essential.
