Job Description

The Project Manager, Third Party Operations focuses on the development of regional launch operational plans (aligned with commercial portfolio), product transfers plans, product change plans and the monitoring of project progress. Reporting to the Associate Director of Project/Program Management, this position serves as the Supply Chain connection between Commercial /Portfolio teams, sites, and markets for product launches.

The position maintains oversight of the regional product launch, transfer, and change plans, while ensuring alignment with the internal and external site launch managers, and market launch management. The typical projects timeline span is 2 years prior to launch and up to 6 months post launch.
The Project Manager is responsible for coordination with internal and external resources in a matrix organization. As part of project operation readiness, the Project Manager will set and track project specific budgets, and drive decisions to deliver the project plan. This includes continuously assess risks related to product launch readiness, contingency planning & execution, and initiating any relevant activity required during the launch phase in order to maintain launch timeline.
This position works with the key stakeholders in the markets and TGO (Teva Global Operations), to prepare, maintain & coordinate the operational launch, product transfer, and product change plans based on various inputs including:

  • Product information
  • Commercial strategy
  • Demand forecast
  • Regulatory and patent information
  • Suppliers and manufacturing sites
  • Business goals and budget


  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, technical or business discipline required. Master’s Degree Preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years Supply Chain Experience or plant operations experience in a regulated pharma or OTC pharma environment, including operations project management experience
  • Minimum 3 years Supply Chain product launch, transfer, and change management of complex products preferred.
  • Go to market process understanding, GMP requirements, cost and finance processes, plant capacity models, ERP systems, Microsoft Software (Outlook, Visio, Word, Excel, PP, Project), SAP (Preferred), and Planisware (preferred).
