Job Description

The Senior Manager will be a key member of the Project Management Office within Biologics CMC located in West Chester, PA.  We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated project manager to play a major role in the overall organization success.

Typical areas of responsibility for a Project Manager are within the Project and Portfolio Management department can include areas within technology transfer, international markets deployment, goods inventory, and departmental project, operational and CapEx budgets.  This individual will expand upon and use the project management toolbox (Gantt charts, RACI charts, risk analysis and mitigation, detailed schedules and timelines). 

Other duties:
⦁    Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation
⦁    Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, providing purpose, direction, and motivation
⦁    Facilitate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets
⦁    Work in a collaborative function with staff from various functional departments
⦁    Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements
⦁    May assume lead roles in the following project types:
⦁    Management of International Market Biosimilar Projects
⦁    Goods inventory management
⦁    CMC budget management
⦁    Risk analysis/risk management
⦁    New project initiatives    

What you will bring to the role:
⦁    Demonstrated experience in the use and/or development of project management tools
⦁    Working knowledge of project management fundamentals
⦁    Must be able to read, interpret, and follow SOP's, and other procedures

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
⦁    10+ years of project management or relevant experience within the cGMP biopharmaceutical industry
⦁    A BS/MS in a life science related field
⦁    Strong understanding of cGMPs as applicable to biologic operations
⦁    Excellent oral and written communication skills
⦁    Strong organization and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
⦁    15+ years of project management or relevant experience within the cGMP biopharmaceutical industry
⦁    A BS/MS in a life science related field
⦁    PMP certification
⦁    Expert understanding of cGMPs as applicable to biologic operations
⦁    Experience developing a project management toolbox
