Job Description

Employees Learning and Development is a global function at teva, working to unleash the power of people in order to drive better business results. Our core emphasis is on the design and development of strategic skill enhancement solutions and practices.
The Instructional Design and Development lead will be leading the design and development process of corporate wide learning solutions and selection of ‘off the shelf’ offerings. This role will partner with different stakeholders (HR business partners, business leaders, internal/external subject matter experts and third party vendors) to conduct needs analyses, prioritize, and scope potential solutions as well as program manage the execution of those solutions. 
Additionally, s/he will be responsible for curating existing resources, curriculum design and applying innovative advanced learning methodologies.


  • Work with subject matter experts and business leaders to conduct needs assessments, design and develop learning solutions that will enhance employees’ capabilities in various domains.
  • Apply advanced instructional design methodologies and tools to create effective learning experience - including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation for synchronous and asynchronous solutions.  
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts and business leads to ensure that program content, learning objectives, and delivery modes meet the business context and customer environment. 
  • Manage project plans, timelines and track against allocated budget; 
  • Define success criteria and report on agreed metrics to measure VOI (value on investment) and ROI (when applicable).


  •  minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred (in Learning and development/OD or related field)
  • A minimum of 10 years working in global and preferably large organizations in the area of learning & development or instructional design 
  • Excellent command of English- Written and Oral communication- with the ability to negotiate and influence, while exercising sensitivity to the audience
  • Demonstrate effective communication & presentation skills and ability to work in complex environment with multiple interfaces in the organization
  • A demonstrated passion for adult learning, sound instructional design methodology and organizational capability building is required 
  • Experience in developing, implementing and improving processes is required
  • Experience designing capability strategy and leveraging external best practices and competitive insights in shaping priorities is preferred
  • Demonstrated (hands on) proficiency in MS Office, training authoring tools, webinar platforms, Learning Management System (Successfactors)
