Job Description

 

1. Provide technical support to Teva’s Environmental and Sustainability Program:

  • Collaborate with Global Environment to review, approve, analyze and manage Teva’s Environmental Footprint data.
  • Track Teva’s progress on its 10 year Environment, Social Governance (ESG) reduction goals including climate change; responsible use of natural resources (energy, water, packaging materials…); and reduction of emissions, effluents and wastes.
  • Support Waste Reduction Gross Margin Task Forces by organizing and analyzing site reported waste generation information.
  • Support the continued focus on strengthening the company’s environmental programs.
  • Support the Environment & Sustainability Technical Advisory Committee (ESTAC)
  • May assist, from time to time, with similar activities for H&S

 

2. Responds to requests for environmental data both internally and externally, such as:

  • Internal:  Annual ESG Reporting & Disclosures.
  • External:  Customer requests for information (Pharmaceuticals in the Environment, Environmental Footprint, etc.).

 

3. Environmental Footprint – Data analysis and reporting

  • Provide support to environmental Subject Matter Experts with EFP planning;
  • Provide support with EFP execution;
  • Data analysis and reporting.

 

4. Participate on and support EHS&S Long Range Plan Environmental teams with data analysis (waste, ESG goals progress tracking…), program development and communication.

 

5. Become proficient in EHSIMS data management and usage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or other relevant discipline. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant EHS experience required.
  • Experience in data analysis preferred.
  • Project management skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Works independently, solves problems using good judgment, is ethical, organized and prioritizes, has excellent verbal and written communication / presentation skills, is persuasive, able to translate technical information into layperson terms, completes work in a timely manner, an exhibit a strong attention to detail.
  • Works well in teams, an individual contributor and as a facilitator.  Collaborates within and outside the EHS&S organization, at all levels, both locally and globally.
