Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit a Process Engineering Manager - 12 month fixed term contract to define, implement and resource business led projects, providing technical leadership and managerial support to the process engineering team.

Purpose of the role:

  • To recruit, select, develop and motivate team and individual performance using the appraisal, communication and HR systems.
  • To define, implement & resource capital projects ensuring timelines are achieved in line with budget.
  • To select & negotiate with external contractors and suppliers to obtain services and equipment to agreed standards and within budget.
  • To assess current equipment performance in order to identify & implement improvements to processes in doing so reduce costs and improve reliability.
  • To maintain & develop process engineering documentation & standards to meet regulatory & business requirements.
  • To ensure all new process equipment meets current regulatory standards by developing and following company procedures.


Applicants should have the following experience / qualifications:

  • Ideally qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in chemical engineering (or equivalent) with post graduate experience in a pharmaceutical or hygienic product manufacturing industry.
  • Proven record of working own initiative within a highly regulated environment.
  • Demonstrable project management skills.
  • Autocad drafting software.
  • Influence & persuading.
  • Negotiation.
  • Planning & organising.
  • Developing others.
  • Problem solving.
